Our Confidentiality Commitment
Solon is built to protect client confidentiality. We do not upload, copy, store, or train AI models on your case files, contracts, or Word documents. Your documents remain strictly on your computer.
[01]Your Documents Stay on Your Computer
When you open a case folder in Solon:
- Local Search & Indexing: Solon reads and searches your case documents directly on your machine. Your files are not uploaded to cloud servers.
- Microsoft Word Add-in: When you use the Solon Add-in inside Word, it communicates directly with the Solon app running on your computer. Your document text is not uploaded to third-party web servers.
- API Keys: If you provide your own AI provider keys, they are stored securely on your local device and are never sent to our servers.
[02]AI Processing & Zero Model Training
When you ask Solon to draft a clause, summarize a judgment, or redline a contract:
- Only Selected Text is Sent: Only the specific excerpt needed to answer your request is transmitted to your chosen AI provider.
- No Model Training: Under commercial enterprise terms, AI providers are contractually prohibited from using your questions or documents to train public AI models.
- Offline Models Supported: For sensitive matters, you can run offline local models where no data leaves your machine over the internet.

[04]Your Data Rights & Deletion
You have full control over your personal account information:
- Access & Export: You may request a copy of your account profile and billing records at any time.
- Account Deletion: You can delete your account at any time. We will permanently erase your email, profile, and billing references from our systems.
